Backwater Adventures and Essential Adventure have now joined together as Essential Adventure Ltd. This range of activities, all based on the camp site, is provided by Andy Miller and a team of experienced intstructors, providing exciting and educational outdoor activities to schools. Team Challenge groups have to work together to solve a range of physical and mental problems. Archery sessions teach the basic bow shooting techniques, including safety and rules of the range, followed by an archery tournament and games. Bushcraft - Stranded alone, miles from civilization(or at the bottom of the camp), teams must survive by mastering the art of shelter building, traditional fire lighting and outdoor cooking. NSRA Air Rifle instructors cover all points of "Safe Shooting" and provide expert coaching in this hugely popular sport. Learn how to use the special Orienteering maps then try to navigate your team to a series of control points around the local area. Book early to avoid disappointment. All activities can be run over a half or a full day and prices include equipment, instruction, transport and VAT.
