All of our activity providers listed below are recommended and approved by Exmouth Camp. This means that we have carried out all the appropriate checks to ensure the best quality of delivery and that all safety requirements are met. We aim to reduce your work load and simplify the process of organising your camp.

Essential Adventure are our preffered suppliers of outdoor education. They have a specialist qualified staff team who not only instruct activities, but use them to develop personal, social and group skills. Some activities are provided on-site at the Camp, whilst others take place off-site and would need additional transport. We can help in sourcing this if required. If you are looking for a positive developmental programme with clear learning outcomes, Essential Adventure can provide this for you. They can provide the follwing activities individually or in some cases, combined for a fun and memorable experience.

Mark Briggs runs a fun yet safe operation from his base at Sandy Bay. Out of our back gate, turn left and 15/20 minutes walk along the coast path. There he has all the necessary equipment, together with changing facilities at a very safe beach location. He will not be offering kayaking, windsurfing or banana boat rides, but will provide a good fun experience with

 Off -Site  Surfing, Body boarding, Water-based team games, A new inflatable water-borne obstacle course, the first of it’s kind in the Southwest. Banana boat/speed boat rides optional extra

Exe-Wake is our specialist supplier of motorised watersports, ie boats with engines and anything towed behind them. They can pick you up from Exmouth Beach and they then operate in a dedicated water-ski area further up inside the estuary. A beautiful and safe location and in partnership with the unique River Exe Cafe, which is used as a base. This provider is a specialist in what they do, and come highly recommended by those groups who have used them in the past.

Off-Site  Motorboat rides, (fast Ribs), Water Skiing, Banana Boat rides, Ringos, Wake boarding.

Kitesurfing - Powerkiting - Windsurfing - Stand Up Paddleboarding - Kayaking
Family run watersports shop and school, based near to Exmouth train station. The Edge can cater for small to mid size groups as well as individual lessons - limits depend on the activity. For Kitesurfing and Powerkiting lessons start at £30 for 2 hours on land and £95 for 3 hours on the water, Stand Up Paddleboarding hire is £20 for 2-3 hours, Sit On Top Kayak hire is £15, and Windsurfing lessons run at £60 for 3 hours. Prices based on individuals and will decrease for groups over 6 in number.

This popular half day workshop starts in our large marquee and weather permitting, continues on th field. Students have the opportunity to learn a variety of skills including juggling, plate spinning, diabolos, unicycling, tight rope walking and stilts. Also try your hand a t balloon animals. A great inexpensive activity, book early to avoid disappointment.

Sea and estuary cruises, ferry services

River Exe cruises from £3.00 per person, Round Robin - A one hour river cruise to Topsham and Return by train - £4.00 per person, World Heritage Coast cruise for 90 minutes - £4.00 per person, Speed Boat Trips from £4.50 per person (15 minute trip), One way Cruise to Dawlish, Topsham, Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth - £3.50 per person. Sail one way then walk/train/cycle/bus back or Vice Versa. Why not combine this with one of the other activities, eg cycle hire, Split you group in half, one party cycles out, the other goes by boat. Meet at lunchtime. Swap for the return journey Special Disco Cruise – 90 minute boat cruise with disco on board -  from £220. All the vessels are appropriately licensed and have protective cover from the elements. They have refreshment and toilet facilities aboard. Educational worksheets are available on request.

Full day hire 9-5.30 adult £10, child £7. Half day hire(4 hours) £7 adult £5 child. Prices include VAT. Group discounts available

Up to 50 bikes available. Close to Exe Estuary Trail and the Buzzard Cycle Route or Woodbury Common for the more adventurous. This is generally a self-run activity, so you will need to have appropriate staff. It may be possible to hire in specialist cycle leaders. Exmouth Cycle Hire can advise on leaders and routes.

2 hour session, subject to wind, tide and conditions. Keep your own fish and BBQ them at the camp or on the beach. Departure point usually Exmouth Dock.All vessels are fully insured, and coded by the Marine and Coastguard Agency (MCA), ensuring that they carry all the safety equipment necessary for your safety at sea. They also have a toilet on board and will provide all the necessary fishing equipment.

Here at Forest Cycle Hire, we pride ourselves on the standard of our guided rides. Our mountain bike leaders are qualified, experienced, police checked and first aid trained. We have been providing fun and exciting guided mountain bike rides through the forest for years, providing happy memories for many groups from schools, youth groups and scouts to families and corporate groups.
Our knowledge of the trails and riding at Haldon is second to none and we are the only approved bike hire provider for the site.
Whether it’s a guided ride or simply bike and helmet hire for your group you require, our experienced and knowledgeable staff are here to help. We cater for groups from 2 to 100 and are able to combine your mountain biking experience with orienteering or hiking if required.

Within walking distance of Exmouth Camp, the World of Country Life is a great day out, particularly for younger students. They have the falconry experience, safari deer train, indoor and outdoor play areas, farm animals, museum and cafes.
